Chances and some application help

Hey I'm a ucsd student
I should have 131 units by the end of the year, but am only a freshman so I will only have one year of grades. But if all goes as planned
GPA 3.85 (at least)
EC: Cricket team, Sikh Student Association
Work: Work 13 hours in the library
Major: Classical Civilization
Transfer to: UCLA

do I need to join more organizations or clubs?

131 units? geez. What did you do like 45 units a semester? lol

lol maybe like 20 ap tests?

No I had 48 Ap units and 19 CC units before this year, and I am taking 16 units a quarter

They don't care about things you did before matriculating at the university.

I had the same problem and I was freaking out, but I called and asked last year. So just figure in the credits that you have taken since you entered UCSD... but I think you have to be applying as a second-year for UC's?

It looks like he/she's applying as a junior.
And why would you want to discount the units you got before matriculating...

You have a good shot. Just be dedicated to your current ECs and you should be fine.

There's a maximum limit on the units (i think 90 or something) that one can transfer in with, and this person will have exceeded it by the spring.

that's okay.
everyone I know exceeds the limit :P
(btw isn't it 105?)

This is OT but I was wondering why you want to transfer out of UCSD? I'm applying for fall '07 and lately I've been hearing a lot of negative things about the school. Any info would be helpful :) Thanks!
