Keep up the good scholastic work...I would suggest maybe becoming more involved/taking a bigger role in your extracurriculars...but then again...what do I know

My daughter was accepted ED last year. You're on the right track thinking about it now, because that ED deadline come very quickly in the fall. My advice would be to visit NU and establish your interest as soon as you can, if you haven't yet. Consider a summer program at NU. Get to know as much as you can about the programs you are interested in and the professors involved. Start thinking about who will write your recommendations so you can get a jump on that. Some teachers limit themselves to just a few recommendations.

Other SAT II's wouldn't hurt. The Math is fantastic, and Chem is a good idea. What about English? (I'm not sure exactly what they offer these days.)

Start thinking about what you're passionate about and how you can express that so they will understand who you are. Play around with different essay ideas. It's too soon to start writing, but not too soon to keep an eye out for interesting things going on in your life that make you who you are.
