Chances and suggestions for universities

I will chance back.

Extracurriculars:

Volunteering at local hospital (20 hours & continuing)
Heal The Bay beach cleanup (2 hours community service & continuing)
Worked at the school store for 1 year (60+ hours of service)
Three Tier Events (worked 2 events on weekends with a catering service to our theater)

Junior Schedule 2nd Semester:

AP Chemistry---A
Business & School Store (ROP class)---A
Honors Precalc/Calc A---A-

It may seem like I don't have a lot of AP classes and such, but I just take classes that I'm interested in. Grades have also been pretty tough because this year I moved 2300 miles to a new school and I'm still having trouble adjusting and making friends (I'm a bit shy :o).

Also, does being Puerto Rican make me an URM?

Chances for:
U of M-Ann Arbor
UC-Davis
NYU

I'm not really sure of universities that would fit my stats, could you give me some suggestions (assuming I increase my ACT score to the 30's)?

PS: Thanks CC peeps :D

Bump please, this is my first chance thread.

Yes, you’re a URM. Do you need any financial aid? If yes, NYU and Michigan are not good choices.

Do you have any suggestions on Universities that have good financial aid for OOS? (CA)

Tulane is supposed to be good with merit money.

bump, anyone else?

You’re a URM so I think you’re good at all of those universities. Your GPA is good as well, I really don’t think you have anything to worry about!
