what colleges am i most likely to get through to??
harvard,brown,U.Mich,UCLA,USC,Caltech,etc....are all on my list...
what are my chances....any suggestions?</and></any>

For engineering, only your math score matters- which in your case is amazing, so you dont really need to give your test again. 93, 96.4 is around 3.75 GPA...but you cannt really convert one to the otherm but what you can compare is your percentile which looks good...You will plly make it to most of the good colleges, just make sure you get good rec letters... :D

No one can tell you your chances. Graduate admissions is too complex.

Now, read the first page of "Graduate School Admissions 101" posts. Its pinned at the top of this board.

As MC says, your GRE is fine, and even your verbal is quite good for a non-native English speaker.

For an approach to converting your percentage grade see:

The section on grading is question 9 - all the way at the bottom.

At this point the only real advice anyone can give you from the other side of the planet is:

1) Talk to your professors who went to school in the USA.
2) Undergraduate rankings are irrelevant to the quality of graduate programs. Make sure you're looking at Graduate rankings when you're searching. Also, Masters programs may differ from PhD program rankings.
3) Focus! Computer Science is a huge field - UC Berkeley will have different strengths than MIT for example. What are your interests?

Finally, add the big state schools everywhere in the country to your list. In addition to Michigan include Illinois and Wisconsin, Texas, etc.

And line up some safeties in the next 25 - Duke, Indiana, Penn State, etc.

And work on your Google-Fu - I found that Ashland link the first try.
