SUGGESTIONS???' THANKYOU!!!!

Your odds are good. A friend of mine had lower grades and no community service and got in. Study hard for the SSAT ( 94% min. That’s the avarege at Andover) and be yourself at the interview. A good SSAT will show your potential, and a good interview will show them that you are capable of using that potential.
Good luck for both of us!

@Mk1801 THANKS A LOT!!

Im taking the SAT, should I better take the SSAT? (Its the first time I take it)
By the way, Are you also applying as 11th grader at andover?

94% min? Oh please.

@MBVLoveless
Sorry, But what exactly do you mean by “94% min? Oh please.”

94% min? No, there have been cases in which students have been accepted with scores in the 80% and rarely 70%. You’re accepted to the school by what you can bring to it.

94% is what some people told me, but I know a lot of people who had lower scores… Andover staff is really good at reading you, the know when you’re up to their standards, maybe you had some personal problems this years and got a bad grade, or you’ve just never been introduced to any volunteer work program, but they will know if you’re a good kid and have the potential for it. Try to show them who you are through the essays and interview. Good Luck :)

94% is SSAT averages for accepted Andover students, not minimum. 11th graders are though supposed to take SAT, not SSAT.
