<p>You don't need perfect scores to get in if you're Asian!!! It's true that it's harder for Asians to get in than the URMs, but that doesn't mean you have to be a robot. I think you have decent scores.</p>
<p>Your profile does seem like a very typical one of Columbia applicants. I guess the key would be to show passion and committment. You need something to make you stand out. IMHO, a lot of times it really comes down to who the admission officer remembers b/c everyone is just so similar in profile otherwise (in the range SAT scores, top 5%, ECs, awards).</p>
<p>Tough. The RD pool is even harder than the ED pool, and those scores/grades are good but not particularly impressive. Your ECs don't reinforce ideas about academic passion, either.</p>
<p>Not good. Nothing really stands out. If you can write a good essay/are just a really interesting person but just not on paper, then you got a shot.</p>
