Chances anyone?

<p>Just trying to gauge where I'm at/advice as to what schools would be a match for me...</p>

<p><strong>Academics/Test Scores</strong>
SAT I: 2400 (800 M, 800 CR, 800 W-obviously)

<p><strong>Awards</strong>
-USABO semifinalist
-probably around 8-ish 1st/2nd place awards in state-level piano competitions
-National Merit Semifinalist?
-Black Belt in karate
-schools awards, honor rolls, other insignificant things</p>

<p><strong>Extracurriculars</strong>
-Anime Club (member 9-12, secretary(11), elected co-pres for senior year)-helped organize an anime convention, which made a couple thousand dollars
-NAHS (member 10-12, project manager and treasurer (11), elected pres for senior year)
-NHS (webmaster)
-Science Olympiad (11-12)-won a couple of medals at states this year, and several more at invitationals/regionals
-Piano: I take lessons at a conservatory nearby, received some preparatory awards, passed the advanced level piano exams, etc.
-Spanish NHS
-Karate</p>

<p><strong>Summer Activities</strong>
-interned at a lab every summer, starting to do biology-related research this summer
-did a CTY biology class after freshman year
-studying bio, learning Java programming, etc.</p>

<p><strong>Essays</strong>
working on them now (yeah...). Should be decent, I've won some writing awards and such, so my writing skills can't be that bad.</p>

<p><strong>Teacher Recommendations</strong>
-hopefully really good, one from my AP chem teacher and one from my English teacher-both of them love me, or so they told my parents at parent-teacher conferences :P</p>

<p><strong>Other</strong>
School Type: Public
Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Female
Hooks: none
Financial Aid: probably</p>

<p>In terms of test scores/grades, I think I'm fine, but I'm kind of lacking in ECs.
I want honest opinions, so I won't be offended if you think I have zero chances at the following schools.</p>

<p>Colleges I'm might I apply to:
Johns Hopkins
HYP
MIT
Stanford
WUSTL
Rice
(hoping to go to medical school later)</p>

<p>Of course, I'll be applying to my state flagship, some others, but I'm curious as to what my chances at big schools would be like...and how much would my chances increase if I applied to say, JHU, via early decision?</p>

<p>People like you intimidate me. I doubt you’ll have a problem with acceptances. Academics are literally perfect, and your EC’s are decent. (Although I didn’t see anything about community service or leadership positions?) Also, what do you want to major in? That can affect your chances and will help determine what to focus on to make you “stand out.”</p>

<p>Chance me back?
<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1167793-chances-columbia-brown-cornell-nyu-2.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1167793-chances-columbia-brown-cornell-nyu-2.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>You stand a good chance at any school that you apply to. For Jhop, your chances do increase applying early, but with stats like yours I’d say go for an Ivy. Chance me:</p>
