<p>The bank didn’t win the nobel prize its founder Muhammad Yunus did. Your ACT is low for Columbia but you do have a good high school rank/gpa. Consider retaking ACT or SAT reasoning and make those essays really amazing. Also being a underrepresented minority(URM) might actually help your case.</p>
<p>ACT is a bit too low. Might try taking it again, but I can’t stress enough how you should show interest in Columbia in the application. Research the college, and show value in the Core Curriculum and specifics as to why you want to attend. The Ecs are fine, perhaps a bit more leadership, but they seem on par. CC is going to be a lot more selective this year, but again an ACT boost and demonstrated interest might help.</p>
