Got into the BU High School Honors Program and debating between that program or Fordham’s or Syracuse’s program.

I would say you will get in for sure, your SATs are higher than mine and i got in so feel confident and rock your interview!

thanks! anyone else?

im really worried about my stupid GPA.

does a grade trend matter?

Freshman Yr: 2.5
Sophomore Yr: 2.9
Junior Year: 4.0

u might want to try to explain those 2’s in your essay

If you don’t get in ED then I have no idea what is wrong with BU lol. If you don’t get in ED then you will definately be deferred and not rejected. You’ll get in regular pool if not ED.

I think you are solid. Write good essays.

thanks :)

and Chris2k5, i remember you from one of the posts about 10 things you hate about BU. ■■■■■.

did you ever get off the waitlist?
what school your going to now?

You’re definitely in – congrats!

thanks everyone! oh and i was wondering if anyone could give me information about these majors…?

Human Physiology
and…
Neuroscience.

and is Human Physiology a difficult major to get into?

i just realized…Why does sargent College consist of mainly women and no men?

im a male and i just realized that on the website, there is only pictures of women in the sargent college link.

human physiology is a wonderful major and, as many of us have said many times throughout this forum, has the same difficulty of getting into as every other major at BU (with the exception of cgs and eng).

[Health Sciences | Academic Departments](http://www2.bu.edu/sargent/academics/health-sciences/bs-physiology/curriculum/)

however, don’t go into human physiology unless you want to go to med school/grad school or do research. you really can’t do anything else with a degree in human physiology.

neuroscience is actually “biology with a specialization in neuroscience.” it’s through cas and involves taking many bio courses along with many neuroscience courses. search through bu’s websites and you can probably find more info.

at/ot/pt, human phys, health sciences, and the other sargent majors tend to attract women, just as engineering attracts men (may be stereotypical, but it’s true). in fact, as part of tradition, they still hold sar/eng events b/c historically sar women dated eng men.

and kingsta, the men in sar are usually very happy being there because they are so outnumbered.

yeah i think i will just stick with Neuroscience. And yeah, i do plan on going into med school.
