I'm a california resident and I would like to know my chances at the followng schools:

Why aren't you applying to UC Berkeley? You have a good chance especially if you raise the SAT IIs. Also, try the ACT, it may be easier for you.

As a UCLA alumnus, thanks for putting Golden Bear in his place with his attempt to recruit you away from UCLA to Cal.

(Just kidding, I get along great with Golden Bear and Cal's a great school too)

I pretty much agree with Golden Bear's "chances" estimates except I would rate UCSB as a "safe match" rather than "safety".

As far as Univ of Miami (I presume Florida, not Ohio), their average W GPA is 4.0 and the average SAT I test scores are 620/635/645 (1900), so you're a match there

Averages at Univ of Wisconsin at Madison are 3.68 UW GPA with SAT I test scores of 611/649/640 (1900 also!) so you're a match there also.

Okay I think I have good idea on the Ca schools, but how about Wisconsin and Miami (EA). I'm really interested in going to those schools so chances there will be appreciated.

Okay well after really thinking about where I want to go to college, I eliminated some of my earlier options.

University of Miami (EA)

University of Southern California

UC Santa Barbara

UC Los Angeles

UC San Diego

San Diego State

Honestly these are the only schools I would want to go to, so I don't really want to apply to any more schools if I don't have to.

So am I fine with these schools? Will I get into atleast 1 for sure?

You're definitely getting into San Diego State, and I would be stunned if you didn't get into UCSB. SDSU is your safety. Your GPA and test scores are both in the top 25% of all applicants, and they only really consider test scores and GPA/curriculum when making admissions decisions. Don't worry about the admissions rate, they receive a bunch of OOS applications from brain-dead kids who want to go there to party.
