Chances are admission getting rescinded by dropping class?

<p>Hello All!</p>

<p>I'm a Business Information Management major applying for UCI. I have a TAG, so I should be squared away there. I'm currently taking a history class that is eating up all the time I need for some of my major pre-reqs. While I haven't heard back from UCI yet, I haven't violated the terms of my TAG so I think I'm okay. I was wondering the chances of them rescinding my admission if I dropped the class. I'm tempted just to wait for the notification, fill out my SIR, and then ask Office of Admissions the possibly outcome before I drop. Thanks in advance for the insight!</p>

<p>Well at ucsd I asked a similar thing and they said as long as you still have 60 units and your igetc and tag(if you have it) than you are good. Dropped classes dont affect your gpa so as long as you still meet the gpa and unit requirement you are basically ok.</p>
