Chances as a Philosophy Major?

Hello,

First of all I wanna say that I've been reading and lurking on this forum for a while now, and you guys are always great help :)!

Here is my question.

I am a high-school student, thinking of applying to Universities as a Philosophy Major.

What are my chances of getting into UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD for Philosophy?

High School GPA: 3.7
SAT: Got 1950 on the first try, now taking it again in October hoping for a 2000+ score (Practicing my ass off :P )
I took a total of 6 AP classes in High School (AP English Lang, AP Eng Lit, AP Spanish Lang, AP US History, AP Physics, AP US Gov)
I got As in all of my APs last year as a junior, and currently maintaining As in my current APs.
Last year I got a 4 on the AP US test, 5 on Spanish (I am not Hispanic), and a 4 on English.
I have over 300 Community Service hours at a local hospital.
I also volunteer as a coach at my local YMCA.
Started a philosophy club this year in my school as well.

So, what are my chances of getting into any of those schools if I declare as a major in Philosophy or maybe even History?

I heard that the acceptance rate at UCLA for example is much higher for those applying as Philosophy major than lets say Medical (obviously).

Thank you for all of your help!!!!

Edit: I am attending a Magnet High School school, I don't know if that is going to have an effect.

UCSD: High match
UCLA: Reach
Berkeley: Reach

So does it make a difference if I apply as a Philosophy major than something else?

UCLA has a 60% admission rate for Philosophy, and Berkeley has a 38% rate for Humanities. I’d say you have a pretty good chance at LA, and a decent one at Berkeley.
