Chances as a Transfer Student

<p>Hello everyone, </p>

<p>I'm currently enrolled at a community college in Miami, FL. I will be receiving my AA degree by the end of this semester and I'd like to transfer to gatech. I have all my pre-reqs done plus a few other classes that I would need to take once I transferred over. </p>

<p>Ethnicity: Hispanic/Cuban
Current School: Miami-Dade College
Major: Chemical Engineering
GPA Cumulative: 3.55/4.0
GPA Major: 3.61/4.0
Math/Science GPA: 4.0/4.0 </p>

<p>Additionally, I been working full-time while going to school, occasionally full-time, but mostly about 3/4 or 9 credits a semester. I have made the Dean's List twice if that means anything.</p>

<p>Do I have a chance of being accepted as a transfer?</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance. Last year, a 3.4 - 3.5 was competitive:</p>
