Chances as transfer to UVA, U. Michigan, Duke, USC

Hey!
I am currently a sophomore at George Mason University, and I would really really like to transfer to UVA's School of Business (Commerce) as a junior. As well as U. Michigan, cornell, JMU, vtech, USC, Duke.
I think these colleges might be out of reach for me because it's very competitive and I'm not sure how my stats stack up, but I love for suggestions!

High School: (don't think will play a major role as a junior transfer)
GPA: 3.67
SAT: 1980/2400 (660M, 620CR, 680 WR)
SATII: 680 Math I, 680 US History.
Extracurriculars: Varsity Tennis, founder of Go club, president of toastmasters, co-captain of dragon dance team in Obama's inauguration parade.
Awards/Honors: Honor Roll, some AP awards & Academic Awards.
Applied to UVA as in-state and got rejected.

College:

(NVCC)
Took 11 credits during summer after HS and transferred them to GMU. Got a 4.0 GPA in calc 2, English, and IT class.

(GMU)
University GPA: 3.55 (most likely after this Fall)

Extracurriculars:
-Teach public speaking/leadership skills at Toastmasters
-VP of Tennis Club
-advertising officer of investment club
-entrepreneurs club member
-tutor club for calculus & economics

Work Experience:
-Worked at Primerica & Apple Federal Credit Union
-tennis coach at Great Falls Swim & Racquet Club.

Note:
I failed a class (linear algebra) in Fall 09.
In Spring 10, I took 6 credits due to family issues.
Will this affect my chances greatly?
(I have all A's and A-'s except one F and B)

My essay is average, nothing spectacular to be honest. Still working on it!

I know I can't change my GPA, but is there anything I can do to improve my chances? ex: join more clubs, etc

I love for suggestions on other good business schools to apply to!

USC is a reach…your gpa/sat is a little low, but you it’s still worth applying.
