i hope you have some safeties along with that giant list of applications. haha.

but i think you'll do well for mich and illinois. i think you'll get into cornell too. i live about an hour away, and my school always has kids going there with grades and ec's lower than yours.

LOL Blue Ribbon means nothing FYI, but being in the top 100 high schools helps things.

As for your chances:
All are reaches except for Carnegie Mellon, UIllinois, and UMich. ED is probably your best shot at Northwestern, so I wouldn't ED anywhere else if that is what you are getting at because it will probably help you the most at Northwestern.

To be brutally honest your GPA is on the low side (though your ACT is very desirable) and this will probably be the deal-breaker at the Ivies and at other top schools where the applicant pool is so large. Also, OOS at Berk and UVa is intense, so be sure to have some good safeties.

I don't know if it's just me. But I think you have a safety. Illinois. right?

northwestern - reach. ED here. will help you.
uchicago - i would throw this away.
u of illinois - Safety
umich ann arbor - Match
berkeley - Reach
cornell - Low Reach (throw this out)
brown - Low Reach
jhu - Reach
carnegie mellon - High Match
vanderbilt - High Match
u of virginia - Match
wash u - Reach
columbia? maybe? - Reach (throw it out)
