Top choices: Penn State, UMD, syracuse, Miami(OH), and Clemson

up that SAT score and you should be fine. also, word of caution, don’t start letting your GPA slip like it did sophomore year… that was a big decrease from freshmen year to sophomore year, so try to push these next two years in order to smooth over the big drop in GPA

My father is professor at Penn State, so I live there. Word of caution: It may seem like an easy school because it is a state school, but the classes are s*** hard (unless you are a liberal arts major). If you major in the sciences or engineering, you will have a great degree that can be a gateway to anywhere you want with an expansive alumni network.

Also, don’t worry about the scandal, the academics are excellent at PSU-UP.

Probably not for Penn State or Syracuse based on your current grade trend. You have lower grades sophomore year despite your class difficulty remaining basically the same. Bring up the grades and SAT’s you might have a shot.
