Hi, everyone!
I'm a Senior-to-be and planning on applying to a number of UCs and Private Schools.

My grades dropped horribly in the second semester of junior year. In the first semester, I got a 4.5 (weighted), but got a 3.8 (weighted) that following semester. I'm just wondering how detrimental this is to my chances of getting into these colleges - particularly UCSD. I do have an explanation for it, but it's not really something I'd like to discuss openly with just anyone. :) Would they want to know why this happened? I'd be fine explaining myself - I'm just not sure if they'd actually be curious or concerned enough to question it.

Well anyway, thank you!
