Your stats look good! I think you have a good chance (or as good as any qualified student) to get into Yale. A lot of times I’ve noticed it really is just luck. I know that when posting on here some people want some sort of constructive criticism, so maybe more leadership? I might just be missing things though.

I’m an Eagle Scout and from what I’ve heard, Gold is so much harder to get so congrats on that one!

I know that essays are what really make your app shine so work on those! With some great apps I would say you have a good chance. Regardless of whether you are accepted into Yale, you will go to a fantastic school! Where else are you applying?

You have very nice stats and will definitely make a solid applicant, however Yale is so competitive that it is really impossible to predict the chances of any applicant more than whether or not he/she WILL get in. Unless of course, you have an achievement to match those mentioned in the last paragraph of that Yale quote.

My CR score was lower than my high schools average but I’m still here
And I don’t even think I was in the top 10% of my school GPA wise. Don’t worry about it.

UNFORTUNATELY SECOND? you should be proud. If you stress too much about acceptance, your rates are slim. Ivy Leagues look for people with applications from their heart, not their minds.
