Chances at admission to Columbia CVN Masters in Operations Research (methods of finance)

Hello all, this is my first post on here so please excuse any protocols I my fail to follow.

I am going to be applying to Columbia CVN for a masters in operations research (methods in finance concentration). I wanted to get your idea on my chances of admission.

Undergrad info:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science Engineering
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Graduated May 2013
GPA: 3.01

GRE scores:
Quant: 167
Verbal: 163
Writing; 4.5

Work experience:
Almost 3 years full time experience in financial industry as a software developer. Worked at Top tier investment bank as an application developer making applications that calculated risk metrics and profit/loss for traders and finance control groups.
Currently work at a hedge fund as software developer. I mainly work on applications that convert financial models on fixed income products to trade scenarios based on trader strategies.

I had a few internships in undergrad and also developed components for an online shopping website.

I just wanted to give a quick background on myself and see what you guys thought of my chances.

Thanks!

I am pretty sure you will be accepted !

Thanks for the reply! I am just concerned about my gpa as it may be on the lower side of the application pool. But I’m hoping my test scores, experience, and undergrad institution will make up for it. Will let you know how it goes!

I can’t say anything about Columbia, but you probably shouldn’t trust the post of a new member who’s name is “obama’s son.” Although I’m a new member as well, so I guess it’s a matter of a pot calling the kettle black.
