If you could five me teh reach/match/safety thingy - that would be great. Or if you could give me your version of my percent chances....either way...plz help

i dont think you have a safety

reject from the elite LACs. why? your rank... sigh

Amherst - Reach
Middlebury - Reach
Bowdoin - Match
Colgate - Match
Colby - Match
Vanderbilt - Match
Carleton - Match
Hamilton - Low Match/Safety
William and Mary - Slight Reach (Out of State)

um, with his scores, middlebury is a match for him. match meaning he has a decent chance of admittance. reach means he has an unlikely chance of admittance. i don't know what statistics you're relying upon to suggest that this applicant with his scores has an unlikely shot at getting into middlebury.

it sounds like middlebury trolling...

no safeties? I mean i am in the top 10%, and I do have above a 2100..., not to mention decent Extracurricualrs - are they really that tough. Psychotickevin scares me

i'd say that amherst is a reach. middlebury may be a slight reach. the others look like they may be matches

by reject from elite LACs, i mean amherst, williams, swarthmore, and maybe a few others. in other words, you'll probably be accepted into others on your list

will i get carleton and middlebury?

i mean, i think i will get in somewher?

O.o when i saw elite lac's i never knew the list was so big...i thought the only elite lac which is better than all the national universities is harvey mudd =D

haha in your dreams

i think the fact that 62 people are better then you will hurt you, but when they see your grades etc, they'll understand you go to a really competetive school.

SAT's are a tad low for HMC. not horrible but not great. the big things is i don't see any really outstanding performance or activities in the sciences. perhaps that is not your interest? if that is so, negate hmc.

Amherst - reach
Middlebury - reach
Bowdoin - slight reach
Colby - low match
Colgate - low match
hamilton - safety
Wisconsin - in
W and M - low match

Any LAC or university that has an admit rates in the 20-30% range is not a safety for anyone, no matter what your scores or grades.

yea, but i eman, hamilton.....ithink hell get in

footballyus- do you realize that colgate is ranked 16th and hamilton is ranked 17th? you make hamilton sound like a crap school...

well, i beleive colgate is underrated in us newx and hamilton overrateed

hmmm- interesting, I mean you haev apretty tough list
