Any input on admission would be appreciated. Thanks. Also, I just recently visited and loved the campus. Tell me what you think. Possible majors: Law and Society / Economics / Intl. Relations / Poli Sci

I had very, very similar stats and not only did I get in, I got a Dean's Scholarship. So, definitely apply. Make sure you have a good well focused essay that stresses your passion in something. I think my essay was the best part of my app. As for majors, may I suggest: "Interdiscipinary Studies: Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government". That's what I'm majoring in, and I think it gives you a good background with out being as whishy-washy as a Poly Sci degree would be. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks a lot. That's good to hear. Anyway, I'm not sure what year you're in, but when I went to American I really loved it, how do you like it?

Also, I was thinking about CLEG, so it's funny that you mention it. How do you like the major? Do you have friends in Law and Society or International Relations, and if so how do then find them to be? Also, have you had any experience with internships yet?

Thanks again.

I kind of decided on AU out of default (they offered the most money). Unfortunetly, I'm in the class of 2010 so I can't tell you how the classes are yet, but I'll try to check back on cc every once in a while and let you know how I like it. Good luck.

Chameleon--
AU sounds like a great choice for you. Your stats and ECs have you right on target to be accepted to AU and maybe even the honors program or one of the UC programs. Good luck with wherever you apply but I definitely think AU is a great match for what you're looking for.

ElCartero-
What makes you think that the Political Science major is "wishy-washy"? CLEG makes you well rounded, sure, but isn't it just skimming the surface of four different diciplines and not really delving into one subject or another?
