Essays:
(1)I wrote about my experience in China, focused on teaching English to a little boy & how education and something as fundamental as language allowed me to build a relationship & how the joy the boy got out of me teaching him the months in English inspired me, because being able to give back what I learned like that was incredible.
(2)Wrote about my church and how its ethos of 'embracing humanity' has pushed me beyond my normal boundaries-especially in regards to modern day slavery. Talked about being part of a project to advocate the end to modern day slavery & how the advocates and organizations I've been introduced to through my church has given me hope & a strong passion for change.
