<p>Here's what to do: take the point about your grandma and WRITE about it. Otherwise, the eyebrows are going to shoot up on the faces of the Ivy League admissions officers at your F in Algebra I and Spanish.</p>

<p>How did you go from algebra I as a freshman to AP Calc AB as a junior? What happened to algebra II, geometry, and pre-calc/trig?</p>

<p>You have to be the first Merit Scholar and MIT admit to fail Algebra I; but at least you got an A in Phys. Ed!!!</p>
