<p>Getting into ANDOVER/EXETER?
So ive wanted to go to boarding school since 6th grade but my parents wouldn't allow me. i was admitted to one of the best private schools in my state where i currently attend.I recently sent out asking for information from all the boarding schools in the east coast, and was particularly stunned by both exeter and andover. When i was looking at the brochures, i could picture my self there. My parents were also amazed by the amazing record, and alumnus, and things the schools had to offer. Anyways do i have a chance of getting in if im applying Foto junior year?</p>

<p>i get mostly A's and high b's all honors classes
On most standardized test i get between 90-99 percentile
honor roll student
Varsity starter for soccer as a freshman and sophomore
Admited into johns hopkins CTY ( scored better than average on my SATs than the high school senior)
Never missed a day of school in my life
Speech and debate
Student faculty board member
Newspaper
alter server
have a job
great with adults( interview should be easy)
Competitve dance team
Varsity track and field
peer tutor
Minority
Science fair 1st place
Lunches to the homeless once a month</p>

i’d recommend repeating though. it may help your chances if you can afford it and if you dont mind doing it.</p>

<p>hmm i don’t think u should repeat u sound liek a solid candiate, esp. academically and athletically… why repeat when ur ready?</p>

<p>i really like my current school but i dont love it, and i feel at andover i could really excell to my full potential which i dont feel im reaching currently</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance but it’s a lot harder Junior year than earlier</p>
