GPA: 3.2 unweighted, 3.6 weighted (I know its bad, but that's because of my first two lazy high school years, and I have my senior year to go)</p>
<p>SAT: crit reading - 520, writing - 730, math - 560(working on these...)</p>
<p>I'm in Governors School and will have 10 AP and IB classes done by the end of high school
National Merit Scholar, National High School Scholar (Not very hard to get)</p>

piano, guitar, violin, drums (no awards for these though)
art (in local art shows)
member of national art honor society, spanish club, young democrats (hopefully leadership next year)
starting club based on service in Africa
fluent in Swahilli</p>
<p>I'm an African American female from Virginia (should help b/c there aren't a lot of Virginians that go to Columbia)</p>
<p>Do you think they'll consider that I'm on a 6 point grading scale?</p>
