<p>If your SAT scores do not improve from what your PSAT indicates, you do not have a great chance at American. To have a pretty good shot at AU you should at least break 1850 (which still is below average).</p>

<p>Don't take the SAT lightly. I know that there are many people out there who claim that they are just not good test takers and that SAT does not reflect their academic abilities, but I genuinely believe that out of 10 people who do, only 1~2 can actually make such a claim and the rest are just making excuses. From the colleges' standpoint, it is the only thing that allows them to compare applicants objectively. You should definitely put sometime into prepping for the SAT and get your scores up.</p>

<p>On the flip side, your ECs are great and your GPA is pretty good. With your SAT in 1900's, your should have a pretty good chance.</p>
