Chances at BC?

<p>Hi, I’m a white male attending a competitive catholic college prep school in Michigan. Should I consider BC a match or a reach? Also, I haven’t taken the SATs yet, are they required?</p>

<p>UW GPA: Frosh - 2.8
Soph - 3.8
Junior - 3.8
Cumulative - 3.5</p>

<p>ACT: 28 composite (31 english/30 math/21 reading/29 science) first time
retaking in October, expecting around a 30-32</p>

<p>ECs: 10, 11 - JV tennis captain
12 - Varsity tennis (hopefully)
11, 12 - Spanish club
11, 12 - NHS
9, 10 - Taekwondo
~50 hours community service through church (prob ~100 by the time I apply)</p>

<p>I think I’m around the top 25% of my class and I’ll have 5 APs by graduation.</p>

<p>I'm not sure how the take into account freshmen grades, but those might hurt your app.</p>

<p>freshmen grades really do not matter as long as you have a rising trend in GPA. (which u do)</p>
