Chances at Bentley?

<p>I have a 3.33 gpa. Working really hard to increase it a little in my senior year. Will that help?</p>

<p>I will be getting my ap results soon, and I’m expecting mostly 4s for all three [micro, macro, and environment] of the ones that i took. My SAT score is 1750, but I will be attempting it again. Hopefully to score above 1850. </p>

<p>Taking 2 aps in my senior year - AP English & AP Psychology </p>

<p>I have a lot of work experience [2 internships in 2 summers] and have also worked at one non-profit outside of school. Running a business blog. </p>

<p>I made the varsity swim team, participated in Model United Nations thrice, science council, environment club.</p>

<p>Do you think I have a good shot?</p>

<p>I think you have a solid chance, your numbers are in their middle range but on the lower side. I would say to boost your chances you should do an interview</p>

<p>Does anybody think i can get into Bentley? It’s top choice.

  • Member. High School Class Council.
  • Varsity Wrestler
  • Linebacker, Football.
  • Kenpo Karate Black Belt.</p>

<p>Have been taking honors Pre-Cal [grade: D] and physics [grade: B]. Last year i took honors chemistry [grade: B] and algebra II [grade: C-] Also, i have taken honors heritige spanish all four years. i have been to Bentley’s multicultural day and met with Derrick Eng, head of admissions at Bentley.</p>

<p>Slam dunk, you’re in, Diehlj. You, too, Genamel. My co-worker went there and it is not so competitive.</p>

<p>Hold your horses. I don’t think its a ‘slam dunk’. Diehlj looks pretty good but I’d need to know his grades for IB before I can make a judgement. Genamel’s stats are pretty low and as a business school, I don’t think they’ll like that D on your transcript. However, if your interview went very well, you never know…</p>

<p>I agree with rommot. I’m sorry Genamel but your SAT score is low compared to Bentley’s lowest 25%. Also, your grades do not seem competitive enough. Diehlj on the other hand has a higher chance of acceptance.</p>

<p>Actually Bentley, according to Peterson’s, has a Cr score average of 642 and Math of 590. I would expect both of these students get in. Great extracurriculars as well as scores at the Bentley norm. </p>

<p>Your stats seem fine for getting accepted. Is that SAT superscore a combined Math and Reading only? Or does that include the Writing section too. That seems quite high…Congrats ,if so.</p>

<p>I’m an International student and applied EA to Bentley. Sadly I was differed!
What are my chances of getting in through regular d?</p>

<p>I have an 88 average, SAT: 610 math, 560 w, 500 cr
Toefl: 103
I sent awesome recommendation letters, but I think my essay could’ve been better
Currently president of community work, secretary of a charity group called girls hope, ballet and tap dance teacher, danced ballet, tap, flamenco, jazz all my life. I work in the summers at the offices of a food chain. </p>
