Who said I was hating on Cornell? I thought it was the biggest reach for me…

^ I was more quoting
and the recent posts I’ve seen about the school

Bubbles isn’t hating on Cornell, she/he is saying the truth and I agree with that post.

Shameless bump

You are right there with all of the schools but unfortunately I don’t see much that makes you stand out. High match/Low Reach for all

I thought Berkeley wasn’t as hard to get into.

I’d certainly apply to those schools with credentials like that. You’re a very good match for Berkeley, and Northwestern and Cornell are somewhat reach schools. Take the ACT during your Junior year because midwestern colleges certainly accept them. Additionally, some people do much better on the ACT, so it’s worth a shot. Overall, I’d say you’re a sold candidate for the schools. Good stuff.

Cornell is a low reach or high match. Which one depends on your ACT (they really like high test scores). Berkeley is going to be a high match in all likelihood. Northwestern is about the same.

Berkeley: match (it would have been a match if you were instate)
Northwestern: low reach
Cornell: reach

you have great scores and GPA and EC’s. Make sure you keep your ACT score high.

On a side note, I think it’s awesome that your Pakistani and Muslim (me too) Its also cool that you play soccer (me too)

I mean Berkeley is a high match.

Northwestern and Cornell should be matches. Definitely apply
Berkeley is a high match, and I could see you being accepted. The Ec’s are a little lacking, not in quantity, but in quality.

I think you look good for all three. A TEDx Speaker? Your up their with people who cure cancer. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1468235-potential-ivy-student.html

Cornell may be harded but don’t give up…work on those essays and you’ll definitely make an impact.

with a 36 ACT, berkeley probably is a low match (depending on your school). NW also very very attainable. Cornell is a low low reach. remember, there are only 700 perfect score kids in the nation. With your stellar grades and scores, you are eligible for HYPS, without a doubt.
