thats for all four years. sat combined was 2160- m:660, v:730, w:770. hook would be community service- i've been really into it in and out of school almost all four years. thoughts? also looking at bowdoin, tufts, whitman. into the outdoors, not too preppy, good community service/study abroad programs, econ major...thanks!

Class rank? This is critical...

He's not lying. GPA/Class rank is one of the most important factors for you getting into college.

what if his school doesnt rank? (like mine)

yea. school doesnt rank. my class is only about 30 people. 160ish in the whole school. the colleges see that i'm one of 11 people with an average from 90-100 and that my gpa is a 91 (should go up by the end of this semester...i have pretty high a's in all my classes right now). other comparable grads have gotten into stanford, princeton, williams, amherst, blah blah blah. we're the 3rd graduating class. don't know if that was too much information...haha sorry

p.s. i've taken all honors and ap's offered (only 2 ap's) except for this year. i doubled up on englishes and maths instead of taking a science.

edit: 1 of 11 with an average from 90-95. there's no one with an average above 95, and the rest of the class have averages below 90.

the UCs, including Cal, don't use rank. You'll have to figure out your UC-gpa, based on a 4.0 scale + bonus points for UC-approved honors/AP courses. You might post on the Cal site for assistance.

off topic, but can i ask how you played Boys AND Girls soccer?

i just wanted to play more/condition and boys was during the fall and girls was winter and they let me on the team. wasnt a huge deal.

lol. maybe the op is both a girl and a boy.

ehs2323:

UCB: Match (out of state)

If you're into a school that emphasizes community service/active citizenship and study abroad, Tufts is probably the ideal place for you. ;-) Good luck!

unless im missing somethin
U have no chance for any school whatsoever because it appears you dont have a GPA
which would put ur gpa at 0.0 cause u dont have one...

OR DO YOUUUU?
and u just didnt post it
