chances at uc-berkeley?
any other schools i could look into?

You are by no means “in”, you’re an international, you’re held to a higher standard than in-staters, you need a HIGH SAT and better ECs, your ECs are alright.

your sat is too low for berkeley. if you pass the 2170 mark you will have a much higher chance getting in. also i would consider you apply as an international relations major and then transfer if you get in. your app fits more of that type of major and plus it will increase your chances.

Berkeley costs $50K per year for non-residents, and you will not get any financial aid. Are you and/or your parents prepared to pay $200K for your undergrad?

Great chance (30-40%) if you’re over 2100 SAT and top 3% or so of your graduating class. If not, under 10%.

I don’t know why a couple of posters above thought that between 5%-10% Class rank and 1900 SAT (or even 2000 SAT) is a Sure Thing. Weird. they must have thought you meant UC Santa Cruz or UC Riverside, to which your stats are a match.
