<p>Hi, I'm a soci major with a 3.94 GPA and have some volunteer work, but I'm a horrible writer so I dont think my essays will be very good and I'm a TRANSFER coming from a CCC. What do you think my chances are?

<p>Berkeley gives substantial priority to community-college transfers; anything from a 3.3 to a 3.7 GPA can get you in.</p>
<p>Your in playa, my brother had a horrible GPA in HS like a 2.4 went to the local CC and got a 3.5 and got inot every school he applied too (UCLA, USC, Berkeley). He went to UCLA but thats just because we all know LA is the best UC, seriously ur fine 3.9+ is almost automatic especially because UC's take thousands of transfers a year.</p>
