<p>MIT is unpredictable. Your personal chances will depend most on your essays (and interview), in my opinion. </p>

<p>In describing your experience with the IT firm, skip the "training" component, which I think is unlikely to impress them, and describe instead what you actually did, especially anything that was new or innovative--describe some kind of creative problem-solving, in that context. </p>

<p>Your EC's are solid. A good description of your fund-raising efforts could help you--they suggest that you are a compassionate person. The fund-raising will probably be judged also in light of the financial resources available in your area, and whether you tried any original tactics, or raised greater amounts than could have been expected. </p>

<p>You come across pretty well in the stats post, in my opinion. Your capability in English will be a plus for an international applicant. If your school offers HL chemistry and physics, and you only took SL, that is a weakness. If HL wasn't offered in those subjects, be sure that your application says so, somewhere.</p>

and oh, my training was before my internship with the firm.
my school not only did not offer HL chem and physics, but forced students to choose between chem and history, and physics and biology due to scheduling reasons.</p>
