Chances at big state schools?

Hi! I'm applying to a bunch of big state schools in the midwest and I'm wondering if someone can chance me at them? I'm from Cleveland, Ohio, and I attend a small nationally recognized private school. Applying to all business schools.

Don't rank, 68 people in my grade

My list currently:

UKentucky
UCincinnati

Any additions would also be appreciated.

I think that your chances at Ohio State (as a resident), Kentucky, and Cincinnati are all quite good. I understand that the Business school at Indiana is pretty selective, and that Math score might not be competitive. The same probably applies to Penn State. I’m not sure about Pitt, and whether it has separate admissions for Business. Wisconsin is probably a reach (again, I’m not sure about the undergraduate Business program there). I have to suspect that Ross/Michigan is out of reach with a 630 Math score.

Cl3v3land the Kelley School of business offers direct admission if you select business as your intended major, earned an SAT of 1270 in math and Critical reading sections or have composite ACT of 30, and earned a cumulative gpa of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale (Indiana accepts weighted gaps) so I think YOU are IN at Indiana!

Bump, also added UC Santa Barbara to my list (UC GPA - 4.08)
With first quarter senior grades I’m not at a 3.8 weighted.

UCSB won’t be hard but can you pay 55k/year?

UMich is out of reach.

UMich is out of the picture when you have a 3.7 weighed GPA. With 3.7 in wGPA, either your uwGPA would be much lower or you did not have enough course rigor. SAT score is also below 25th percentile.

@billcsho No need to be rude by telling OP “UMich is out of the picture.”

UCSB does not have an undergrad business program. It is unbelievably nice, however.

Hmmmmmmmmmm Silly girl

LALALALLALALALLA

I think you’ll get into michigan i just got in and i have a 3.3!!! so excited!! Roomie?
