Are you In state or out of state? You SAT scores are very good but the GPA might be a little low. It def does make a difference whether you are an out of state student.

I’m in state, How would that affect me?

It is much easier to get in as an Out of state student since they pay about $10,000 more. There are not many students that apply and actually go from OOS schools. I think they accept them on hopes they will come. My Son was top of his class with a great GPA, average SAT scores and he did get in along with 8 other kids from our school in NJ. This year he and 2 others did accept Binghamtons admission offer which was the highest amount of kids that ever went from our school. NJ schools are expensive for In state students. The competition is very tough for NY students. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the response, will take that in to consideration.
