i just finished my freshman year in petroleum engineering with roughly a 3.77 gpa. im interested in switching to biomedical engineering and was wondering what my chaces are. Thanks!

Good/great

i think your chances are fantastic, here’s a useful link
[Internal Transfer Historical Summary](<a href=“Undergraduate Education”>Undergraduate Education)

by the way, could you tell me why you’re changing from PetE? How is it? I’m planning to major in it so it would be great if I could get some information; if its not too much to ask of course.

Thanks for the link redhotsrock. Seems like a LOT of people have been rejected for internal transfers this year than the past years. Already 20 for PetE, 55 for ChemE, and 70 for Mechanical! None have been accepted to BME! D:

Though you have pretty good chances…

It’s nothing against PetE, I’ve liked all my classes so far but it just doesn’t interest me that much. I don’t think it is something that I could do for the rest of my life.
