Chances at Boston College, Tufts, and Holy Cross?!

What are my chances so far as a pre-med student, and does anyone have any suggestions for increasing my chances? I think I could get pretty good recommendations and am considering applying ED.

Female

You have pretty good ECs, but your ACT score is low and your weighted GPA seems a little low (though knowing your UW GPA would help). Have you considered trying the SAT?

Holy Cross: Match/High match (please refrain from sending ACT score)

Tufts: reach
Boston College: low reach (unless you raise your ACT)
Holy Cross: High match

Tufts: Slight Reach
HC/BC: High match

Internships/Work Experience:
Summer before junior year I interned as a development intern in Kenya at a rural school
All of senior year I’m interning at a local law firm

I’ve had awards for debate and community service, 3 service award from POTUS.

Demographic: Indian/Asian

field of Interest: PoliSci or International Affairs.

They’re both reaches for you.

mcgillkid: Please don’t post “chance me” posts on others’ threads if they don’t request it. Just CC forum etiquette :)

ave02c: It’s hard to chance you without test scores or junior year grades, but right now it looks like Tufts would be quite a reach, BC would be a low reach, and HC would be a high match. You really should try to get 31-32+ on the ACT to have a good chance for Tufts.

Good luck! :)

Holy Cross has great pre-med program and fantastic alumni network.
