Chances at Bowdoin!

<p>GPA: 4.36 Weighted, 3.95 Unweighted (on a 4.5 scale, works out to around 3.8/4.0 scale)
SAT: 1570/2340: 800 CR, 770 M, 770 W
SAT IIs: 800 Lit, 800 US Hist, 740 World Hist, 720 Math I
APs: 5 World Hist, 5 US Hist, 5 English Lang, 4 Calc AB
will be taking ap exams in calc bc, english lit, government, french, macro and micro in the spring of sr. year</p>

<p>ECs:
varsity cheerleading (9-12) - 20 hrs/week, 7 months/yr
pop warner youth cheer coaching (10-12) - 6 hrs/week, 5 months/yr (counts for community service)
newspaper - section editor (9-12) - 4 hrs/week, all year
student council member (9-12) - 3 hrs/week, all year
key club member (11-12) - 1.5 hrs/week, all year
phillips exeter summer session after 9th grade
landmark volunteers summer after 10th grade
summer program in england after 11th grade</p>

<p>Other: I want to major in History so I participated in National History Day at the regional level in 11th grade.
I expect my teacher recs to be good, counselor rec good, etc.</p>

I might consider ED II if I don’t get into my ED school since Bowdoin’s my 2nd choice, but I don’t know yet.</p>

<p>well, i have new AP scores and a higher gpa than last time because of my final junior report card. therefore, it's updated. i can't edit the old post, so i made a new one. is there a problem with doing so?</p>

<p>well i did not get into my ED school and now im nervous about bowdoin! i already submitted my app for regular decision, i hope they don't fill up all their spots early! but i hope you guys here who applied early got in!</p>
