Chances at Brown/Columbia/Stanford?

So I'm freaking out b/c Stanford rejected me last week...I was wondering what my chances would be at the Ivies I applied to.

GPA: 107.8 (weighted with multipliers: 1.00=Regular class, 1.15=Honors class, 1.29=AP class). Essentially a 4.0.

Rank: 21/658

Standardized Test Scores:
SAT: 1460/2140 (720 CR, 740 M, 680 W)
ACT: 33 Composite (33 Eng., 34 Math)
SAT II'S: 740 Math 2, 700 English Literature, 640 Physics

EC'S:
--Played Freshman/JV Football and Track 9-11th Grade.
--Ran Varsity Cross Country 12th Grade.
--Part of the Peer Assistance Leadership team at my high school. A small number of students travel to feeder elementary schools twice a week to mentor K-5 graders who have social/family/etc. problems. Essentially acting as a role model for them. This entails quite a bit of leadership and community service.
--Member of the Winner's Circle Advisory Board. We promote drug/alcohol-free activity at our school with events/posters/trips to feeder schools/etc.
--Drummer for my Church's Youth Band.
--Employment: Worked at Baskin-Robbins summer before Senior Year.

Awards:
2006 NCTE Promising Young Writer
National Honor Society
Spanish Honor Society
National Merit Commended
AP Scholar with Honor

Sample of my course listing this year:
XC, Peer Assistance Leadership, AP Macroeconomics, AP Govt., AP Psychology, AP Physics, AP/GT English Literature, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics.

I wrote my essay about my discoveries/research in Mathematics (my computation of the constant pi, my application of mathematics to art, etc.) I plan to major in Math in college.

Sorry, meant to say “Chances at Brown/Columbia/Dartmouth.”

Before I begin, no school these days is a definite safety. In the specific case of the Ivies and other high-caliber schools, there is no “likely.”

However, given your credentials Columbia is decent, slightly shaky match. Brown is a slightly better match. (Note that I use “match” loosely). Both, of course, take no guarantee, even if you are the great grandson of Albert Einstein.

Do not worry about your Stanford decision. Except for improvable physics and writing sat grades (numbers though are only one factor), count on your math passion as your strongest point. Keep fingers crossed and GOOD LUCK!

big reaches mate but best of luck

I think that you have a definite chance at Dmouth and Brown. Columbia will be a stretch.
Brown- 50%
Dartmouth- 55%
Columbia- 27%

What’s your ethnicity?

I’m a white male living in south-central Texas.

Also of note, I took part recently in a TEAMS competition. My school had two 8-member teams compete in a Math/Science/Engineering test at a local college, and my team ended up placing fourth in the state.

Not sure if this counts or not, but after the Haiti earthquake occurred, for community service, I collected used shoe donations from friends/family/etc. (75 pairs total), and now I’m running one mile barefoot per pair collected. It was for a school English project, in which we were supposed to “change the world.”

I’m taking 8 AP tests this year, and so far, to my name I have W. Hist 3, Eng. Language 3, US Hist. 4, Cal AB 5.

My PSAT was a 210, which let me qualify for NM Commended.

Oh, calculated my Ivy AI…It hovers around 211 to 212, depending on the site.
