Chances at Brown, Middlebury, Wesleyan?

I am in dire need of some advice and direction due to a situation with my counselor. In short, she is extremely hard to contact and therefore being of very little help at the moment, to the point where I'm not sure I will even be able to secure a recommendation from her. I am working on this situation and finding a solution, but in the meantime, it would be nice to get some input from you guys.

I realize that I have good credentials, but I need direction as to what schools would be match, reach, and safety for me, as well as the chances of me being accepted into schools already listed. Some part of this is just nervousness, I know, and sorry for that. Hopefully it's alright that I'm using this board as one for people to suggest schools while telling me my chances since it's in the same realm and basically for the same purpose. If not, nevermind then. Thanks in advance.

Schools: Brown University, Middlebury College, Wesleyan University (If you could, 2-3 more suggestions of schools on the east coast or any input at all would be spectacular)

Unweighted GPA: 3.9
Weighted GPA: 4.7 (I think this is correct. I remember reading somewhere that weighted GPAs should be on a 5.0 scale, and I do have a 4.7 on this scale, but on a 6.0 scale, I believe my GPA is somewhere around 5.0)
Class rank: 3 of 349
SAT - 2210
Math: 690
Critical Reading: 770
Writing: 770
ACT composite: 33
I have not taken the SAT II yet, but I plan to do so in two or three subjects this year.
I don't think it's really necessary for me to list out all classes, but if I need to, I will. I'm probably forgetting something major, so just shout at me if I did. :P

Recommendations: I have secured several recommendations.
Other: Well, if it affects anything, I'm a white female from North Carolina. I think I'd like to major in classics.

In case you want to make suggestions, then first of all, extra thanks. I'm not really wanting to attend a massive school with heavy emphasis on Greek life or only partying, which is why I've not included schools like UNC (although I did consider it) on my list, and I'd prefer a school in a smaller town with lots of outdoorsy things like mountains to hike and an active and centralized campus life. Seeing as this is probably not the right section, though, I don't blame you if you just completely disregard this.

I think that's it. I probably left something out. Any help at all is really appreciated. Thanks.

You have excellent stats. Also look at Amherst, Williams, and Bowdoin. Bates and Colby may be safe bets for you.

Thank you. I looked at them and they are all definitely on my list to consider. Anyone else?

I just realized I left out a possible EC because I was only thinking on the school/leading position track for the most part. In addition to what’s listed in the original post, I have been horseback riding for twelve years and competed in noteworthy shows (60+ blue/champion/reserve champion ribbons, + more; this is an estimation) and my trainer also worked with Olympic equestrians as an instructor. In relation to this, I frequently volunteer at a camp for the disabled centered around equine therapeutic methods and have been doing so for the last five years. Basically, this entails taking care of 20 or so horses, preparing horses to be ridden by those with physical and mental disabilities, and coaching the riders on the horses as a side walker at least once a week.

Anyway, here’s a list of schools that are interesting and likely for me to apply to.
School list: Brown, Vassar, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Amherst, Fordham, Haverford, William and Mary, Williams, Bowdoin, Ursinus

I can tell you, not many people at Wesleyan even realize they have an equestrian team, so I think you would be adding depth to an interesting activity. Also, being from an underrepresented state should help.

apparently the Wesleyan equestrian program has grown recently… it’s up to ~30 I hear… a good time to join since it’s on the up and up

Of the schools on your list, the one that sticks out is Brown, because its not a LAC. What is it you like about Brown, because its very different from the other schools in your list in terms of size and location. Thinking about that “x-factor” may lead you to others. I think you have a good balance of targets, reaches, and safeties, but maybe add 1 more of each. How about checking out Dartmouth, Colgate, and UVM?
