I’m new this site. So I’m sorry if I do something wrong LOL. I really want to go to brown university im currently a high school junior and I’m planning to apply ED to brown. Unlike the other users on this site my stats aren’t amazing but this is seriously the school for me. No doubt about it. Here are my stats:
2000 on SAT
3.75 unweighted gpa
5.1 weighted gpa
700 on us history sat II (going to take one more at the end of the year)
Theatre board (secretary) hopefully president next year!
Improv acting: president
Class council secretary
NHS, morning announcements, student mentor, summer course at Rutgers on public speaking, nominated for HOBY leadership award (only 5 people in my class nominated) temple volunteer: Saturday night discourses for children. Sooo sorry for the long message but yeah I’m an aspiring brown undergrad so I’d love to know my chances!

I encourage you to raise your SAT I score.
Essays can really break or make your application, so I would encourage you to think about your essay even now and finish writing your essay over the summer. It’s really easy to be overwhelmed with college applications along with senior year. Trust me on this -_-

CC is NOT representative of the average or even above-average applicant, so don’t be discouraged that your stats don’t match with theirs! Every applicant to Brown is amazing in his or her own way and I’m sure you’re just as amazing if not more, as any applicant.

Best of luck!

Thank you so much!

I’m curious as to how one has a 5.1 W GPA. I thought the scale went 4(UW)/5(W)/100.

My school the weighted gpa is out of 6 not 5.
