<p>Nobody's chances are that great. If you can pull your entire application together in a way that showcases you as an up and coming writer, it would help. You would have to prove that you already are writing. The recommendations would have to highlight your writing. If there is an interview, you would have to get the interviewer excited about your writing.</p>
