Chances at BU, NU, JHU etc...

I am going to be a Senior
GPA: unweighted about 3.5-3.6/weighted 3.7-3.8 and should be top 10-12ish% by the time of applying from a very competitive public high school in MA.
SAT: Critical Reading-630, Math-710, Writing-640 (total: 1980) going to take again.
SATII: Math 2c-710, Bio:M-660
APs: Bio (got a 4), Calc BC, English, Stats, Psych
Got a 101 on the AMC12 and took the AIME
Skipped algebra 1 so I was a year ahead in math of all my classmates.
Took the max Honors/AP courses every year.
Part of NHS, Young Liberals Club (was the secretary and treasurer), Math team, German Club, Film club, Concert Band, After-school orchestra, marching band, and taught myself bass. I also played in a rec basketball league for the past 7 years if that means anything...
I did Youth and Government, where I held a leadership position on governers cabinet and was selected from Massachusetts as one of the "elite" 20 to go to the Conference on National Affairs in North Carolina. (About 300-400 kids participate in the program from MA, thousands across the nation). Youth and government is going to be the hook for my applications cause I was most involved in that and will most likely start it at my school as it was just that great. (I also have a letter of recommendation lined up from the state director).
Worked at a local department store and electronic store for pay and did community service at 2 Hospitals. One was more patient interaction and the other was clerical work.

That's me!
My main colleges right now are Boston University, Brandeis, and early decision at either JHU or NU.

What major are you applying under?

JHU - not likely
Brandeis - maybe
Boston - in
NU = Northeastern? If so, you're in.

GPA is ok ( but kinda low for JHU)
SAT is low for i think all of them
SAT2's are ok
EC's are good (nice hook/letter)
all in all ill have to agree with theoneo unless u can get that SAT up to around 2200+

good luck

SAT is not low for all of them

idk wut schools ur thinking about theoneo

I can definately see you getting into BU and perhaps Brandeis as a slight reach. John Hopkins and Northwestern (if thats what you meant) even ED would be definate reaches. If you meant Northeastern I think you will be easily in.

I indeed meant Northwestern in Illinois. I forgot to state in my original post that I moved from california between my freshman and sophomore years and it shows in my GPA as it goes 3.9 freshman year, 3.3 sophomore year, 3.9 junior year. As a result of this my counselor is going to speak about how my move was a reason my grades faultered that year but how I picked it up afterwards.

Also, can you please recommend me some schools in my range from matches to attainable reaches. I am going to do premed in college. Currently I am looking at BU, NYU, NU (ED), JHU (ED), Brandeis, Lehigh (do they have a premed program?), USC, and the majority of the UC system schools (I lived there for 10+ years and moving back would be nice).

If you could tell me chances at those plus give me some alternate schools to look at that would be great.

bump this to the top, please
