Chances at BU?

Hi everyone, I’m a white female attending a small not-so-competitive public school in Mass. My school just went through a budget cut and we lost basically all elective classes and several APs and languages…but anyways, chance me please! :)

GPA: 4.3 (will go up after this year is calculated)
Rank: 8 out of 164 (same as above)

APs (my school only offers 3): US History, Calc BC, English (online)
Scores: APUSH - 3, haven’t taken the others yet
All my other classes are honors, and I’ve also taken 2 years of Latin…was planning on taking a third, but it’s no longer offered because of my school’s budget cut…

EC’s:
Student Council (4 years)
Student Council Treasurer (senior year)
Class Treasurer (3 years)
NHS
Varsity Field Hockey (2 years)
Foreign Language Club (3 years)
Principal’s Advisory Council
Also thinking of starting a Latin club next year.

Community service:
50+ hours at a youth center for underprivileged children
I also am planning on volunteering at my local senior center…will probably have 50+ hours there as well.

Summer:
20-30 hours a week at a furniture store as a customer service rep
Attended a summer leadership program at Bryant U for a week
Also next summer I will have an internship at EMC, because I think I want to major in business…

Test scores:
Sat I: 600 CR; 660 M; 660 WR; 8 essay (1920 total)…definately taking again…I think I can do better.
SAT II: none yet, planning on Math 2, Spanish, and US History

Awards:
Junior Medalist (one of 12 out of my class)
St. Michael’s College Book Award
Outstanding Achievement in Latin I, Latin II, and Geometry
President’s Gold Scholar (every year so far)
Highest Honor Student Council Award (recieved twice)

Just about the budget cut. That's not your fault. Note that on your application. BU takes things like that into account. They want you to challenge yourself given the opportunities available to you.

Looks pretty good to me.
