I don't know where this belongs but I took a College Course at Baruch College after my Junior Year. Will this help?

I know I didnt take a lot of honors classes in my school but I got really high grades on standardized tests. I also received a 70 in english during sophomore year. I also received a few B's in biology during freshman year. But everything else is all A-/A/A+. I hope this doesn't intefere with chances that much.

I will have a good essay and beyond excellent recommendation from my math team advisor.

Please tell me what you think my chances are are please give suggestions on what I can improve on. Thanks.

Why worry at BU? I'd suggest applying to Tufts with those stats :)

Becuase I love BU!...and Tufts is a bit too small for me....and I love the college town at BU.

I see. You'll probaby be offered the 1/4 tuition scholarship at the very least.

it should be a safety for you

Thank you so much!! I feel so much better now!

why are you applying to BU? Its a stupid school, for stupid people

go-vibe
"why are you applying to BU? Its a stupid school, for stupid people"

Man, harsh. But yeah, that would be a safety school for you. You have to keep in mind though that BU has no campus... so if you're into that sort of thing...

apply to bc, too

if you're being serious you are an idiot. BU is a great university that has quite an extensive list of notable alumni: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Boston_University_people

that list happens to contain numerous nobel laureates, rhodes scholars, US senators, house members, the vice president of Microsoft, the vice president of IBM, the CEO of Motorola... i could keep going but according to you they are all stupid people.

it's remarks like this that make me angry at some CC'ers and makes me wonder why i continue to post here. just because a college isn't in the top 25 according to US News does not mean it is a stupid university.

Dude your in. I got in with a 1960 SAT, one AP class, no AP tests, and no foreign language. Applied for full ride scholarship (I thought, why not?), but didn't get it.

Youre in at BU, but you only took some honor classes in high school? How many?
