Chances at Cal Poly Pomona

stats: 3.27 GPA
1600 SAT (500 CR 560 MATH)
23 ACT (26 MATH)
480 USH & 550 MATH 2 SAT 2

what are my chances at cal poly pomona and ucsb?

Stats are a bit low, it is possible for Cal Poly Pomona depending on major. Also, you will not need SAT 2’s.

UCSB – slim chance. Apply anyway as a reach school.

A great strategy would be to go to a Community College first and then transfer in after a year or two. I am not sure, but you may not need SAT scores and if you can maintain a 3.5 or higher you’re in at either school and will have even more choices available.

Best of luck! I left high school after my junior year and finished at a CC. I then transferred to a great nationally ranked 4-year university and got an MBA later on from one of the top international business schools in the country.

My best friend in high school had less than a 2.0 and missed over 100 days of school due to truancy. He got his GED, went to the University of Washington, then worked in Japan for several years and got his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He now works at the highest levels in the international entertainment industry. How you did in high school has little to do with long term success if you focus.
