Cal Poly SLO has been extremely competitive the last several years. Your ACT is at the average for 2013 Freshman but SAT on the low side along with your GPA. SLO uses Freshman grades in their GPA calculation along with a points system where you get will bonus points for extra years of Math/Science/Language/English and Art classes, see link: http://digitalcommons.calpoly.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1014&context=statsp&seiredir=1&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%3Fp%3Dcal%2Bpoly%2Bslo%2Bmca%26fr%3Dipad#search=“cal%20poly%20slo%20mca”

Chance for SLO: Low Reach

You should also calculate your CSU/UC GPA, see link:<a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;

You should consider the other Cal Poly, Pomona which has a very good Architecture program and easier to get in.

Thank you!
