Your SAT scores are above average for accepted Cal Poly SLO freshmen which are about 1300 for all students and 1372 for students intending to major in engineering. Your GPA is a little low for Cal Poly SLO which is between 3.8 and 3.9. You are not applying from the school’s service area which would hurt an applicant to a CSU who is a California resident but being from out of state could give you an advantage as California’s financially hard pressed public universities have become much more receptive to out of state applicants who will be paying full tuition of about $40,000. All in all, I think your chances are reasonably good.

anyone else plz???
