i go to a very reputable public HS in nor cal (my school usually sends around 30 people to cal and 30 to ucla each yr)
i've already been admitted to ucla (i dunno if that affects cal admissions)
in-state applicant

what are my chances? thanks in advance!

very good..

People with a resume like yours do get rejected, but not most of the time. You can assume you're getting in.

in for sure
dont even worry

way better than my chances ^_^. Good luck!

you already have ucla! haha

but good chance... 60%

Even If U Got In, U Would Be Eaten Alive At Ucb W/ Those Kinds Of Stats, But Ur Prob 10% Likely To Get In Neways. Sorry Man. This Is The #1 Public University. Get Used To It :)

Thanks for the feedback! :) 8 more days...

wow...im surprised ur so optimistic about this...

Let me put it this way, if you don't get in i will be surprised. Preferably your II's would be higher but with a I score like that you should be alright. Besides if you don't get in then im screwed.. :(

UC Berkeley is a match

I know tests are not everything, but I think just about the only people that get rejected w/ 1500+ SAT & 3 700+ SAT II's from berkeley are those that don't have the GPA.

Don't sweat it, but I suppose there are people like you that have been rejected.

Well, I thought I would update you all with the results: I was admitted to Spring 2006. Thanks for all the feedback and support!

Can someone please enlighten me? :
What is "Cal" short for? I've seen it all over the boards....It's confusing.

LadyinRed: Cal = UC Berkeley

Congrats! Me too :) spring baby
