<p>I advice people to read two threads (and this link will take you to them) before making a chance me at Caltech post.</p>

<p>However, I will say one thing, if you are going to submit an Arts Supplement, Caltech may not be the place for you. I am not saying “will not”, I am saying “may not” as I really do not know what will be in your application. And why that statement about the arts supplement? Read those two threads and it will be become clear. Caltech is different and makes no bones about it. You have to have a specific inclination to get into Caltech and I am not sure that I see it in the information you have provided.</p>
